The Greater Mount Airy Ministry of Hospitality, parent organization to The Shepherd’s House homeless shelter and Helping Hands Foundation of Surry County, a food pantry and resource provider, is dedicated to ending family homelessness by providing caring support, education, and innovative programs designed to empower families to achieve self-sufficiency.
Our team enthusiastically embraces the opportunity to further our mission by opening our new shelter facility in January 2022. This move will enable us to serve up three and a half times more guests, moving from an 18 bed facility to a 64 bed facility. Please continue to support our efforts with your outpourings of generosity.
May God bless you and keep you!
