Volunteer

Volunteers:
There are many ways you can give back to your community, even if you can’t financially Volunteers are an essential part of our program because they assist staff with completing daily operations and provide guidance and support for our clients. Whether you are here because you are required to obtain volunteer hours or you just want to support The Shepherd’s House and our clients, our hope is that you leave here with a positive, ever-lasting impact and learn something about the non-profit world as well as homelessness.

To become a volunteer at The Shepherd’s House, click the button below to download our Volunteer Application Packet. You may either fill it out online (save it to your computer first) and email it to The Shepherd’s House or you may print the form, fill it out manually, and turn it into The Shepherd’s House in person. After completion, our Volunteer Coordinator will be in touch with you to schedule days and hours.  *** If you are a minor (under the age of 18 years old), have your legal parent/guardian complete the attached Minor Consent Form. If you are of age, leave this section blank.

Volunteer Background Checks:
The Shepherd’s House and Helping Hands greatly appreciate your willingness to serve our precious clients. We ask that you help us wisely use our donor contributions to directly serve our clients while you cover the cost of your background check. The charge is $12.00. This background check is mandatory and ensures the safety and wellbeing of the vulnerable populations in our care. Thank you for your support.
